Janusz Kozera is from preparation and training a contrabassist. In Poland, he has worked with the Music Agency of Katowice, “WAIA,” as well as for numerous musical events and concerts with top Polish artists. He arrived in the USA originally under contract to the Cardinal Club to perform with outstanding artists such as Jaroslaw Kukulski and Darek Kozakiewicz. He later expanded his performing to American and Polish musicians in various Chicago-based venues and clubs. He has been with Marianna Band for a non-consecutive total of fifteen years. His musical talents include performance on the bass, acoustic guitar, and vocals, as well as in the field of arranging. Janusz is also a very versatile musician, being able to perform and collaborate in a wide variety of musical genres.
