Marianna Huszaluk-Dzis is first and foremost a vocalist. Her background also includes studies of economy and education; however, she feels most like an artist.

She values her preparation in voice and drama, which she received a degree in from the Music Academy of Wroclaw in solo vocal performance under Professor Teresa Krukowska and in drama under Professors Anna Chmielewska and Zbigniew Rymarz.

Before her move to the United States, she has been performing on Poland’s stages for over ten years. For six of those years, she was a contracted vocal artist at the Musical Theater of Wroclaw, where she played in many musical productions, operettas, and musicals. She was featured as the lead role of the prince in “The Prince and The Pauper,” based on the novel by Mark Twain with music by Edward Pallasz, and under the direction of Henryka Komorowska. Marianna also performed in many religious concerts, such as that for Pope John Paul II in 1982, as well as in children’s productions and performance cycles. She credits her artistic successes the most to the actress and director, Maria Januszkiewicz-Nowicka, and well as to her husband, Mieczyslaw.

Since 1990, she has lived in the United States where she was involved in Polish newspapers and radio stations, as well as the hosting and directing of Polish-American events and parties. In her private life, she is the mother of twenty-one-year-old Marlena.
